Reflect: What ways can you be generous today? How can you refresh someone else today? Everyone needs encouragement. Look around and ask God to show you how to bless someone today.
Spiritual Vitamin: "Fear of man will prove to be a snare, but whoever trusts in the Lord is kept safe." Proverbs 29:25
Reflect: What are ways we can fear people? When people are big and God is small, you miss out on the safety of the Lord. Fear God alone. He will keep you safe!
Spiritual Vitamin: "Teach me your way, O LORD, and I will walk in your truth; give me an undivided heart, that I may fear your name." Psalm 86:11
Reflect: No matter what age, we still have much to learn. Our Lord, when we're willing, has much to teach us. Would you make this your prayer today?
Spiritual Vitamin: "Sing joyfully to the LORD, you righteous; it is fitting for the upright to praise him. Praise the LORD with the harp; make music to him on the ten-stringed lyre. Sing to him a new song; Play skillfully, and shout for joy. Psalm 33:1-3
Reflect: How often do you take time to praise the Lord? You may not be gifted at playing the harp or lyre or even have a great voice! But, the LORD loves the praises of His people! Take some time to give Him your praise today!
Spiritual Vitamin: "Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go." Joshua 1:9
Reflect: What a word to live by! How are you cowering in fear today? Where are you lacking courage? Ask God for help to obey this command. Give him every one of your fears! He is with you wherever you go!
Spiritual Vitamin: "A man's wisdom gives him patience, it is to his glory to overlook an offense." Proverbs 19:11
Reflection: Do you overlook other's offenses? Or do you want to jump and criticize their mistakes? Consider this proverb. It is wisdom that gives us patience. Let's be patient with each other!
Spiritual Vitamin: "Consider the ravens; they neither sow nor reap, they have neither storehouse nor barn, and yet God feeds them. Of how much more value are you than the birds." Luke 12:24
Reflect: Have you considered the ravens? They were considered not very valuable birds in the Bible. Yet, God cares for all of creation and values them! How much more does He value You? How does that change your perceptions?
