Spiritual Vitamin: "Delight yourself in the LORD and he will give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to the LORD; trust in him and he will do this...." Psalm 37:4-5
Reflect: What are the benefits of delighting in the LORD and committing everything to Him? Take a moment to do just that...Commit everything to God- your time, your work, your family, your possessions, everything!
Spiritual Vitamin: "Lord, you know everyone's heart." Acts 1:24. "Search me, O God, and know my heart." Psalm 139:23
Reflect: Can you trust your own heart? God is the ultimate heart-knower! No matter how near or far you are from God, He knows you completely and loves You.
Spiritual Vitamin: "Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus." 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18
Reflect: Today is a new day! Look around and make a list in your head (or on paper) of all the things you can be grateful for. God's goodness is everywhere. Give thanks!
Spiritual Vitamin: "To You I call, O LORD my Rock; do not turn a deaf ear to me. For if you remain silent, I will be like those who have gone down to the pit. Hear my cry for mercy as I call to you for help, as I lift up my hand toward your Most Holy Place." Psalm 28:1-2
Reflect? We all know what it feels like to not be heard. Listening makes us feel loved. God loves you so much and he listens to everything You say to Him. He will not turn a deaf ear to you. What do you need to tell Him today?
Spiritual Vitamin: "But this I call to mind, and therefore I have hope; The steadfast love of the LORD never ceases, his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness." Lamentations 3:21-23
Reflect: What gives Jeremiah hope? Grasp the enormity of God's steadfast love and never-failing compassion. May You enjoy this same hope today!
Spiritual Vitamin: "My soul finds rest in God alone; my salvation comes from him. He alone is my rock and my salvation; he is my fortress, I will never be shaken." Psalm 62:1-2
Reflect: So often, we want to find relief in our crummy circumstances by just wanting everything to be the way we want it to be. True relief does not come when circumstances are perfect. Relief comes when we find rest in God alone. Will you find rest in Him alone, today?
Spiritual Vitamin: "Do not judge, or you too will be judged. For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you." Matthew 7:1-2
Reflect: Reflect about last week. Consider how judging others may have been part of your life, whether verbally or even in your mind. Ask God to soften your heart and look for ways to love when you want to judge.
