Challenge: This popular Christmas Carol comes to us reflects the following scriptures: Psalm 96: 11-12, Genesis 3:17-18, and Psalm 98. Read through the scriptures. Then make note what words describe the character of our God. Think about the hymn. Consider the words your'e singing. What did you learn?
Prayer: Dear God, Thank you so much for this beautiful carol that speaks to the joy of you coming to the world. We worship you today and we too, want to repeat the sounding joy! Lord, you rule the world with truth and grace! In the midst of our worries and anxieties of this life, help us find peace in knowing that you rule! Amen.
